19 local municipalities will be holding elections next month. Many of them have city council races, but four will be holding mayoral races, including Lake Park, Royal Palm Beach, Palm Beach Shores and Boca Raton.
In Royal Palm Beach, three people are challenging incumbent Mayor Matty Mattioli, and the village is holding a candidates forum Tuesday night.

Palm Beach County Elections Supervisor Susan Bucher says there's a new law regarding absentee voters.
If you want the ballot to go "someplace other than your voter registration address...they must submit a new request in writing with your signature."
Bucher tells us how important these municipal elections are.
"Local government has the greatest impact on your daily quality of life because they establish things like the park systems and the quality of your water. They actually are the people who fill the potholes in your neighborhood and they establish your property taxes."
The elections will be held Tuesday, March 11th.
