This year’s theme is superheroes: As you enter the gates, you will experience the New York of the Marvel Universe. Marvel Entertainment even has an actual office there on the 135 W. 50th Street. Because New York is such a big city and a melting pot of different people and cultures, it is the most densely-superhero-populated city in the Marvel Universe.

Climb the Spiderman wall, walk through Batman's Batcave, and expect plenty of photo ops! The DC Comics Multiverse will be featured as an immersive 3D experience of lights, color, and sound reached through a vortex tunnel.

Plus! There will be official appearances including:

JANUARY 18 - 25: Meet your favorite Marvel Superheroes: Thor, Black Panther, Captain America and Spiderman.

JANUARY 26 - FEBRUARY 3: Justice League Superheroes will meet our fairgoers: Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and Batman

We will also be celebrating local superheroes who will be recognized for their special powers in the “Not all Heroes Wear Capes” parades. Parades go on daily, and each day will be honoring local heroes. E.g. Heroes of Education, Heroes in History, Hometown Heroes (nominated by the public), Heroes of Freedom (law enforcement and military) etc. Both Wednesdays, January Schedule of parades at southfloridafair.com
