I can't believe I'm writing my very last intern blog as a part of The KVJ Show. This has been such an amazing experience, and if anyone out there is reading this and wondering if they should intern for KVJ, do it! It's an experience unlike any other in the world, and you really have to experience it to be able to describe it. An intern for KVJ has to be really outgoing (because you do a lot of talking!), super-amazing in their social media skills and of course, always prepared to jump in and be a part of some crazy stunt, most likely involving Jason.

The people I've worked with here at KVJ have been absolutely amazing!

  • I'm so incredibly lucky to have become so close with Virginia, and she is really one of the kindest and most beautiful people I know, and the best mommy to my favorite baby Magnolia! I absolutely love her!
  • Jason is so incredibly sweet and really cares about people. People ask me all the time if Jason is as nice as he is on the radio, and I always tell them yes, he's amazing! I'm lucky to be able to call him a friend.
  • Kevin works so hard to make the show interesting and fun, and he always does a wonderful job. He is going to look AMAZING with his new transplant hair! But right now...he kinda looks like a pirate.
  • Heather is the best producer in the entire world, I'm convinced, and just one of my favorite people I've ever met. She knows absolutely everything, and I feel lucky that she's shared some of her knowledge while I've been here (I'll never ever forget Michael Rosenbaum's birthday for as long as I live!). I know she'll be really proud of me one day when I finally get around to seeing Star Wars.
  • Curtis and I share a brain (and a birthday...a day apart), and share an intense love for Robin Thicke and the Space Jam soundtrack. And chicken, of course. The way Curtis changes song lyrics to make them completely inappropriate is kind of spectacular, and a skill everyone should have!
  • And to all the intern friends I've made along the way in the past year--Ashley, Sam, Alyssa, Sean, Lisette, Shannon and Marissa, it was so much fun working with you.

I've made so many friends here and I'm very, very grateful for all of the different experiences I've had. It was so nice, I interned twice, haha! I will honestly miss waking up at 4:30AM three days a week to come in and work with my friends. I'm not a morning person most of the time, but it never mattered because I was always so happy here. I would stay forever if I could! But I know that nobody can be an intern forever, so I will be moving on to a brand new job. But I will always miss working here and taking pictures of crazy stunts, editing videos of Jason eating pond-water chick fil a sandwiches, going on crazy trips to the Keys with the show, movie premieres with Heather and Curtis and one of my favorite memories, Christmas with the KVJ Show:

That was such a great day!

It's been real, you guys. Kevin, Virginia, Jason, Heather & Curtis-- thank you for everything you've done for me. I will miss it here so much!

Love you mean it,
Intern Christina (@xtina1822)
