I can’t believe today is my last day interning for the KVJ Show.  I’ve been sitting at this cubicle since the middle of May and damn, how time flies!  I would like to start off by thanking Heather and Curtis for putting up with my hippy ways.  They both taught me so much this summer and I am very grateful for them.  I would also like to thank Kevin, Virginia and Jason for the entertainment so early in the morning.  I started off never listening to the show and ended up becoming a huge fan of it!

Having to be at the studio at 6 a.m. for a night owl like me that hates coffee was tough, but enjoyable.  I feel like I gained so much knowledge about the radio industry that no textbook could ever teach me.  My multitasking skills have definitely improved along with some computer skills.

My favorite thing about working for the show is the dress code; wearing jeans and a T-shirt every morning is the best!...Just kidding.  Although that really was one perk, the most memorable moments for me would have to be all of the stunts the crew pulled.  Putting crickets down Jason’s pants the second week I was interning was probably on the top of my list.  Meeting Sean Kingston and other random celebrities was also a bonus.

I highly recommend anyone interested in radio to intern for the KVJ Show.  It is an awesome experience that allows you to meet so many different people.  Because of this internship, I have finally decided that I want to pursue a career in radio or some other form of entertainment.

Thanks again KVJ, it’s been WiLD!
