I went to New York City for the first time in the 20 years I have been breathing on this earth. I have no idea what took me so long to visit this amazing city!! My dad’s from Chicago, so I have been brainwashed to love Chi-town and hate on every Yankee I see. However, once I stepped foot into the city, I fell in love! Let me just give you a little recap of my interesting family vacation.
We had 6 people crammed in a mini van ready to drive from Florida to NYC in a span of 2 days. After an unplanned visit to Washington D.C. and a doctor (because I was sick) we finally made it into the city at All of us were exhausted and all we wanted was sleep, so we head to our rented condo and told the guy we were staying in the pent house. He lets us in the room and there was no furniture! Since all of us were so delirious we could not stop laughing. My mom called the man we rented the place from and he told us we were in the wrong building! Some random bellhop let us in an empty penthouse suite! Luckily we got everything straightened out and the view from our place was awesome!
During our 3 day stay in NYC we saw the Statue of Liberty, 911 Memorial, Empire State Building, Central Park, a Broadway show and Time Square. We got a picture with the naked cowboy and found a huge cardboard stand-up of the M&M Mrs. Brown.
The last day we were in NYC we decided to wake up early and head down to the Rockefeller Center and watch the TODAY show. It happened to be my dad’s birthday so we made him a sign. My dad and I both got on TV and my cousin (who flew in the 2nd day we were there) got a picture with Channing Tatum!!
After taking the subway uptown, downtown, all around town we were ready to drive to upstate New York and relax on Rushford Lake.
If that vacation wasn’t the best thing ever….I leave for Puerto Rico TODAY!!!
Here are a few of the photos from my vacation!
I can't believe I'm writing my very last intern blog as a part of The KVJ Show. This has been such an amazing experience, and if anyone out there is reading this and wondering if they should intern for KVJ, do it! It's an experience unlike any other in the world, and you really have to experience it to be able to describe it. An intern for KVJ has to be really outgoing (because you do a lot of talking!), super-amazing in their social media skills and of course, always prepared to jump in and be a part of some crazy stunt, most likely involving Jason.
The people I've worked with here at KVJ have been absolutely amazing!
I've made so many friends here and I'm very, very grateful for all of the different experiences I've had. It was so nice, I interned twice, haha! I will honestly miss waking up at 4:30AM three days a week to come in and work with my friends. I'm not a morning person most of the time, but it never mattered because I was always so happy here. I would stay forever if I could! But I know that nobody can be an intern forever, so I will be moving on to a brand new job. But I will always miss working here and taking pictures of crazy stunts, editing videos of Jason eating pond-water chick fil a sandwiches, going on crazy trips to the Keys with the show, movie premieres with Heather and Curtis and one of my favorite memories, Christmas with the KVJ Show:
That was such a great day!
It's been real, you guys. Kevin, Virginia, Jason, Heather & Curtis-- thank you for everything you've done for me. I will miss it here so much!
Love you mean it,

I am so excited because my favorite summer show, Big Brother, comes back tonight! It's the 14th season premiere and yep, I've watch every season. I feel like a lot of people don't watch this show for whatever reason, but the people who do (like Jason and I) are obsessed with it! It's just so interesting to me. Some seasons have been better than others, but I'm really excited for this season since four of the best players will be coming back to mentor the players.
I'll be talking about some show spoilers after this sentence, so come back and read the rest later if you don't want to be spoiled!!!
OMG you guys, two of my favorite players will be returning to the house to mentor the players.
Favorite #1: JANELLE! BB5 & All-Stars
Everybody loves Janelle. She is probably the best player of BB history, in my own opinion of course. She is so much fun to watch because she's a fierce competitor (kicks butt in competitions constantly!) and loves to be in the middle of a bunch of drama. Aww, a girl close to my own heart. I'm sure she'll be amazing this season, but she has a huge target on her back since she gotten so far in previous seasons. I'm definitely pulling for her to win.
Favorite # 2: DAN! Winner of BB10
Big Brother 10 was definitely one of my favorite seasons, Dan being one of the reasons. Before the show started I didn't think I would like him because he was portrayed as being this super-conservative jerk. But despite the editing the producer of BB gave him, he ended up being such a good player and really fun to watch. I know he'll be a really good mentor to whoever his players are.
So that is my little synopsis of my favorite BB players who are returning this season. Let me know who your favorite players are and what you're excited for this season!
