On yesterday and todays show, Kevin, Virginia and Jason spoke of the Tila Tequila situation and the effects of pills (drugs) on people. Believe me, unfortunately, this topic hits too close to home, BUT there is an answer> It's called awareness! Other people in this business may talk about the "dirt", but here at the KVJ Show, they take it a step further and make people AWARE! Thats why I am privledged to work here.
Thanks Kevin, Virginia, Jason, Palm Partners and Gina Rodriguez for caring so much and brining light to this and other situations of this kind. Bless you ALL!
When I came in here to work, I thought it was going to be that standard, run of the mill radio show and programming. But I have to say that I am soo pleasantly surprised as to what I have experienced.
Not only do Kevin, Virginia , Jason and their production staff bring you, music, the standard current events, weather, traffic reports and OF COURSE, DIRT< but behind the scenes, these people do soo much to help others.
God says that when people do things for others, they should do them in private. That being said, my hat's off to all of them for the GOoD work they do.
If nothing else ( which I doubt), after my tenure is up, I will be leaving here with something far more valuable than broadcasting experience ....................it's called HUMILITY!
KEVIN ASKED ME FOR MY BIGGEST REGRETS
Wow, where do I begin? Do we have more than 4hrs?
Definitely my part of my divorce because it effected my kids and extended family so much. I NEVER should have beat up by brother in law for using drugs at my house or not. It was a poor decision on my part and I regret what it has done.
Taping and releasing conversations and pictures of the people I love regardless of the reasons.
Raiding Lindsay apartment while Ali was there with LAPD narcotics division.
Ever offending or hurting Kate Major in any way whatsoever.
Responding so publicly to the things that never needed to be addressed in the first place.
Doing anything that lead me to being arrested and sent away from my family
Losing sight of God in my life and all the blessing he gave me.
Offending people I didn't know.
Not setting a GOoD example when I KNEW better
Not listening or living by the phrase, " be careful who you walk with and I will tell you who you are"!.
Walking into the studio at The KVJ Show unannounced, only to find Jason in his underwear!!!
WOW! what an idiot I was!
To the prople who say they can't stand me, but don't know me;..........just imagine being me! I can't even get away from myself if I wanted to.
Thanks Kevin, for hooking me up with my dear friend and fellow "college" friend, Larry Diadato.
First of all, we ALL have to admit that we have regrets when we text things in the heat of the moment. I know I have. BUT thanks to modern technology, there is an application Verizon has where you can erase your texts and regrets. (HOPEFULLY before the recipient reads the texts.)
On another note, being in the business of INTERVENTIONS at Palm Partners, I have experienced and KNOW that when someone has something to hide, they would rather text than talk on the phone.Whether it be that they are slurring and drunk, all over the place and high, cheating, in a place they really aren't or just plain lying they would rather text than talk. I have experienced it myself with friends, loved ones, clients and i had even done it myself. AND LEARNED FROM IT!!
SO, if you have something to hide, try that application because you are not hiding anything. We all know, what's up!
Then of course, we might consider just being honest and avoid the conflict. Try it, you might like it!
