The pineapple fruit will have a starring role at the 8th Children & Parents Day set for Sunday, March 3, 2013. Sponsored by Target stores and presented by the non-profit Museum of Lifestyle & Fashion History, Children & Parents Day is celebrating the pineapple fruit for National Nutrition Awareness Month and Florida's 500th anniversary. The Master of Ceremony is Virginia Sinicki of the KVJ Show on Wild 95.5.
